MUCH AGREED. Mr. Cruz is a very caring, compassionate man. I am a reverend in my own congregation and can personally attest to the loyalty and sincerity Mr. Cruz expresses on a daily basis. This man is nothing but an honest, respectable business man who does everything he can to help his community. He runs one of the finer auto repair facilities in Union Co. and that should say a lot coming from a retired Master Certified ASE and GM "A" class auto tech, like myself!

After years of going out of my way to an out of town mechanic, we decided to bring one of our four cars to First Independent by way of tow truck. Our first impression started well with the Secretary at the place: a very pleasant person (Carmen) keeping up with the flow of customers and phone calls returned all my calls and finally it was Mr. Cruz turn to call me. Well, he got the chance to do whatever he can to my car, since it was not starting when we called the tow truck, but to my surprise, he just told me that nothing was wrong with the car, nothing owe and to go and get my vehicle from his shop.

Years of being rip off by different mechanics, it was a great experience to know there is still people that value the first principle of business; A happy customer, bring more customers.

The best thing about this auto shop is their Honesty. For years I have been terrified about bringing my car to a shop because I have had many terrible experiences in the past. Mechanics have ripped me off before; lying about what is wrong with the car, not fixing the right things, and overpricing every repair. I have taken my car here twice and each time they have diagnosed and fixed the problem in a timely manner. They do not hassle you and tell you that you have to fix a million other things that could cost hundreds of dollars just so your car can make it out the lot. The service is affordable and reliable. In addition, their customer service is just as great. The front desk administrator (Vicky) is extremely polite and informative; telling you exactly what is wrong and what can be done to fix it. Options are always given. They also do an amazing job with providing the status of your car. I would recommend this place 100 times. It truly feels great to finally have a shop that I can trust to take care of my Hank (That is my cars name)!

Their honesty, their customer service is simply awesome, outstanding professional mechanics. From the minute you walk in all of their personnel put you at ease. If you need a transmission or a basic oil change these are the folks I recommend without reservation.

Great customer service!! Very helpful staff. I don't know too much about cars but when I was trying to explain the noise I was hearing they knew exactly what it was...also the price was lower than previous places I checked out! They told me exactly what was wrong and what was needed. No extra stuff to jack up your bill like other places. Thanks guys!
